Margaret E. “Marge” (Reiprich) Catlin 91 took the hand of Jesus and was led to the Promised Land at 9:30 a.m. on April 5, 2012 at the Serenity House in Tomah, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 27, 1920 to Paul and Bertha (Hofer) Reiprich in Webster, SD. She attended Teachers Collage in Aberdeen, SD and taught school in that area. She was the widow of Eldon (Curly) Catlin whom she married in 1945. She is survived by her sister Irene Isburg of Volin, SD, two daughters, Paula Catlin-Davis of Tomah, WI, widow of Verlyn Davis, and Barbara, wife of Bob Zook, of Leola, PA. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Michael (Pamela) Zook, Jon (Michele) Zook, Robert (Susie) Davis Michael (Shelly) Davis and Barry (Lynn) Davis. She has 12 adoring Great Grandchildren. She was very grateful for her special friends and care givers, Dan and Donna Albrecht, and to the many other family members and friends who supported her over the years. After teaching and moving to Wisconsin, Marge worked in many grocery stores including Cram’s in Tomah. She also worked at the Band Box Laundry in Tomah. In addition to her immediate family, she was loved and supported by many friends and members of the Davis and Catlin families. She had a love for good food, her canine friends, Max and Pebbles and chatting with family and friends. She was an adoring and supporting mother to her daughters and a world class mother- in- law to Verlyn Davis and Bob Zook. She was a positive role model for all those who survive her. We will miss her greatly.
A memorial service will be held at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, 762 W. Clifton St., Tomah, WI. on April 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Serenity House, 601 Straw St., Tomah, WI or Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.
